Till now, each time I watch the Hillsong United videos, which ever songs they are, be it From the Inside Out, The Stand, Fire Fall Down or Our God is an Awesome God [roll over words for links to video], the anointing just flows like a heavy sweetness, even when it's just a video that's playing on the screen. And each time, I'm struck by how good God is, that one doesn't have to be there physically to encounter Him tangibly, but He reaches out to us through every medium He can.
Was watching a clip of Our God is an Awesome God on youtube, and when the view of the whole crowd of youths were just worshipping Him came on, God just spoke in my heart, and told me that was what campus was to be. That it was but a hint of what Campus would become, of the lives that He would touch through us. It just moved me to tears, in the same way I nearly cried while serving on saturday. Was watching from the platform while people were getting prayed for, when God just flashed a picture before my eyes, of all three sections being filled up, with people standing and worshipping Him, with people touched by His lvoe and overflowing with life, with people who were once lost but were found by Him. At the end of it, I was so in awe of His goodness, how He tirelessly reachs out to us, no matter how many times we reject Him, how He still loves us completely, despite our brokeness and imperfections. When I saw the people getting prayed for, somehow I knew that their lives were radically transformed from that point of time, coz God is one who keeps His word, who makes our lives better and better as the days go by.
Really blessed to be the 'one who stands behind the camera throughout the service', because from the platform, I get a view that most dont see, I see the ever-increasing numbers when people are lost in worship, I see the emotions flickering across their faces when they're fellowshipping with Him, and all these continually remind me of His ever outstretched hand to us, His once lost sheep. Don't think I can possibly count the number of times I've been moved to tears seeing the multiplication of numbers in Campus, knowing that more and more lost sheep are being led back home, where Daddy God can touch their lives and love them into wholeness, where they know Jesus as their shepherd, where their hurts are healed and where they know that they are precious, cherished and loved beyond comprehension.
Daddy God, You're so loving, You sent your Son down for us, for Him to suffer and be punished for us, just so You could bring us into Your embrace. Thank You Jesus, that You willingly shed Your blood and gave Your life for us on that cross, even though we were so undeserving. Thank You Daddy God and Thank You Jesus, for all that You've done, are doing and are to come =)
