Matt came on saturday for campus!! Hahaha, so happy about it^^ He found worship good, which is totally true since I totally miss church at times when campus isn't on =( The msg that deacon preached was pretty powerful too, except that for some reason or another I seemed to have reached a plataeu so I absorb more in a way?
It was the same for Bible study too, when pastor was preaching, tried to listen but somehow everything just bounced off like foam balls. kinda sad =( But thank God for jac^^ Heh, She just shared w/ me some revalations? Coz recently had some problems with depressed friends and in the midst of counselling them, I actually lost focus of the fact that I should not be helping them within my limited human understanding but to actually direct them to Him? Coz that's the only way that they can truly be happy in His finished work as He satisfies every need? But I was depressed too and depressed people cannot help because even you yourself lose conciousness of that light. Heh, so thank God for jac for sharing that with me. Helped me correct the whole picture. It's so cool how He actually tells you things that you need to know through so many means? He just answers your prayers in so many ways that I can't help but be in awe and Him and just praise our Lord and Father with all my heart =D
Back to saturday~ new people joined! A huge welcome to myron, lixian, clement and efremm [did I spell that correctly??] Heh, so glad to meet more brothers and sisters^^ It's so amazing how we could just get along? Spent about 2 hours laughing in the foodcourt about crazy bus drivers, fire extinguishers, kiasuism in singapore, president extras, fire alarms on buses and in schools, different ways of laughter [charles bounces, lixian sqeaks, clement cries] and chemical practicals. We laughed so much that when we attempted to stop laughing to massage our aching muscles, we ended up laughing even more. We even scared the cleaners away from clearing our table >.< simply mad. Charles and Myron do wonderful stand up comedy^^We only left teh foodcourt when they switched of the air conditioning =S
Heh~ then some of us [charles, lixian,myron and i] met up before third today. Ended up waiting for Myron really~ long so we wnet into the arcade to play for a while. Ended up losing to charles in panic king, Still can't believe two girls aren't enough to beat one rugger! Argh! And you should have seen the guys play! The machine kept shifting to a position of 45 degrees. Pretty hilarious, couldn't stop laughing when they were playing. The difference between girls and guys playing? Guys move the machine, girls just scream alot^^ Left with really little time for lunch so we decided to queue instead. Sneaked into third batch =D
Oh~ and pastor Prince came back to preach today!! Haha, made all of us so happy. The message was really really powerful. He preached on the book of revelations and I simply love the reassurance that God always gives us? There's so much more but I don't really know how to place it in the post >.< So come and ask me about it online^^ Then some of us [myron, charles, glen, des, cherie and i] went to kfc to eat coz we were simply starving after going without lunch before hand, following which we[des, charles, cherie and i] went to play pool! At meridien. New experience for me, since I finally learnt how to actually hit properly >.< Whole incident was actually pretty funny, as the rate of improvement of cherie and I was proportional to the rate of deprovement of charles and des. =D Then rushed home to watch Artifical Intelligence which left me in a melancholic and reflective mood = not so happy after all. But realised that a good chat with a friend always helps =D Praise Lord for giving me a brother in Christ such as marcus^^
Random note of the day: Inhaling two apples in the span of four hours leaves you feeling really full and bloated. trust me on that =p shall go off to sleep now, badminton tommorrow!! So looking forward to it^^ Other then getting thrashed by charles~ grr~
