Later, all of us went down to a chicken rice stall nearby and just crowded the entire store. Heh, blessed the entire store with our presence and money^^ In the end, due to space constraints, my caregroup decided to sit apart and drag some tables to an area near the others [which took about 11 tables in a row?? we only took 3 small tables^^]. According to elizabeth, it seemed as though we were out of a picture of the last supper. LOL. Got our physical stomachs filled with really good food :)
Even better was what followed, because jiahao then proceeded to satisfy our spiritual hunger [which is never, well, sufficiently satisfied] :D Having bryan there made things alot better, learnt so much, coz he's really learned as well, so through hearing their conversation, you learn so much. Learnt about slaying and where it was mentioned in the Bible, how even as children of God, our lives still would not be perfect, yet how we would not trade those down times for anything coz they're what made us what we are today? How despite the long arduous uphill journey which we think would never end, how much we seemingly suffer to reach the ever-so-far-away- hilltop, when we finally reach the top, we just can't help but be in awe of how far up we have climbed, the sense of looking down and seeing what has been accomplished is simply amazing.
Most importantly, he talked about bringing God into our daily conversations. And it's really true, because there's just so much life the moment God comes into the picture, you're just endlessly refreshed, it's impossible to get bored when the conversation has God in it and that is also the essence of fellowshipping, coz we refill each other with life, that at the end of every conversation, no matter how short it was, you still feel refreshed after it, it's really quite astounding.
Really forgot how much I love to just sit and listen to others talk about God, coz you learn something new everytime and you just grow more in the walk with Him everytime. I know elaine loves listening too, it's just such a wonderful thing to do :) closed the night with scheduling of the west coast outing [which i blogged about erm..4 entries ago] and fellowshipped with kenneth on the way back. Really blessed to have such a learned person in the cg, haha, had such a great time! Really cool how we just thirst for His word more and more, like an insatiable hunger that we constantly crave to feed and it's really a fantastic thing^^
Okay, finally can end my entry(s) about friday, just know that my days will be as blessed as this day has been and I really pray that all of ours will be too^^ Oh yeah, a huge THANK YOU is due to jem for being so patient and tolerant while teaching clumsy ol' me how to cycle on sat!! Haha, finally know how to cycle, admittedly, not totally, but still, I shall get more experience! Heh, so ask me out to cycle next time!! So i can rough out the bumpy areas^^
